Natural gas supply
At NYSEG, we aim to empower our customers to make informed decisions about their energy supply. Regardless of who you choose to supply your energy, we don't make a profit on the supply charges.
Energy prices change according to the demand, seasonally and daily. Be aware that natural gas prices tend to rise in colder weather.

NYSEG buys on your behalf
This is the default rate if you do not choose an Energy Services Company (ESCO). The price per therm is adjusted on the first of each month.

Energy Services Company (ESCO) supply option
ESCOs may offer fixed or variable supply prices, different contract terms or additional services. If choosing an ESCO, ensure you understand the terms and possible rate variations before choosing your supplier.
