RG&E Collaborating with City of Rochester for ROC the Block Series Throughout the Summer and Fall

Customer Service representatives will be available one Wednesday each month

The Company will also have resources about employment opportunities at community-based hiring event 


ROCHESTER, NY — June 10, 2024 — Rochester Gas and Electric (RG&E) is collaborating with the City of Rochester for its ROC the Block series starting June 12. The event is a community-based hiring initiative that will bring businesses and recruiters to the city’s four quadrants. The events will take place on one Wednesday a month throughout the summer and fall.  

RG&E will have customer service representatives and advocates available at the events to connect directly with customers, offering resources and addressing account needs. The Company will also have representatives from Human Resources to talk about employment opportunities, including temporary utility workers, analyst, engineers and more. 

All events will take place one Wednesday per month, starting June 12. The locations and details are listed below.
