RG&E to Have Customer Service Representatives at Aberdeen Square Park for City’s ROC the Block Series

Part of the utility’s collaboration with City of Rochester one Wednesday a month through September


The Company will also have resources about employment opportunities at community-based hiring event


ROCHESTER, NY — August 12, 2024 — Rochester Gas and Electric (RG&E) will have customer service representatives at Aberdeen Square Park for the City of Rochester’s ROC the Block event on August 14. The event is a community-based hiring initiative that will bring businesses and recruiters to the city’s four quadrants. The events take place on one Wednesday a month throughout the summer and fall.

RG&E will have customer service representatives and advocates available at the events to connect directly with customers, offering resources and addressing account needs. The Company will also have representatives from Human Resources to talk about employment opportunities, including temporary utility workers, analysts, engineers and more.

Details of Wednesday’s events are below:

These events are part of RG&E’s continued efforts to connect with its customers. RG&E remains committed to the communities it serves and will continue to have a direct presence in the community, working with local organizations to provide access to its programs and assistance for customers.
