ROCHESTER, NY — June 27, 2024 — Rochester Gas and Electric (RG&E) is delivering on its promise to better the customer service experience and that is leading to higher satisfaction levels as the Company looks to build on its community presence from 2023 to this year. RG&E held 60 Community Connection events throughout the Rochester region last year, addressing customer billing needs. Customer service representatives assisted more than 4,000 customers at those events. Customers have been able to meet with customer service representatives and advocates face-to-face at the Lilac Festival, Parcel 5 and Bivona Child Advocacy Center, and community centers.
“We recognize the importance of providing access to our customers and being able to meet them where they are,” said Vice President of Customer Service for RG&E, Christine Alexander. “We know customers appreciate the convenience of being able to speak with a customer service representative in their communities, and we want to continue to offer that as an option.”
