RG&E Customers Have More Opportunities to Connect with Customer Service in Person in October

Event will help customers with billing questions and offer energy efficiency kits


The Company’s customer service statistics are now exceeding pre-pandemic satisfaction levels


ROCHESTER, NY — October 6, 2023 — Rochester Gas and Electric (RG&E) has announced upcoming dates for customer service events in the Rochester area during October. Customer service representatives and advocates will continue to have a presence in the community, supporting customers by helping with billing issues, answering smart meter installation questions, addressing termination/shut-off notices, aiding with new service, and providing energy efficiency information. Limited energy efficiency kits will also be available.

October 7, 2023 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Gates Fire District, 2355 Chili Ave., Rochester
October 14, 2023 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dowtown Definitely Fall Festival, Parcel 5, 285 E. Main St., Rochester
October 17, 2023 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monroe Co. Senior Services Exposition, Durand Eastman Clubhouse, 1200 Kings Hwy N., Rochester
October 17, 2023 1 p.m to 4 p.m. Ibero Community Resource Center, 216 Clifford Ave., Rochester
October 26, 2023 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monroe Co. Senior Services Exposition, Henrietta Senior Center, 515 Calkins Rd., Henrietta

 

RG&E has helped more than 2,000 customers at its customer service pop-up events. The Company remains committed to improving customer service and will continue holding events with local government and community organizations across the Rochester region.
