The Company will join forces with community organizations, agencies and utilities, offering wide range of services

Part of RG&E’s commitment in the community; more events to come

ROCHESTER, NY — March 13, 2024 — Rochester Gas and Electric (RG&E) is announcing a joint utility event in which multiple community organizations, agencies and utilities will offer services to help residents in Monroe County. The event will take place Thursday, March 14 at Northwest Junior High at Douglass School.

Other participants include Spectrum Cable, Lifespan, Action for a Better Community, and Veterans Outreach Center. RG&E will have customer service representatives and advocates available to connect with customers, answer billing questions, and provide updates on operations. Energy efficiency kits will also be available while supplies last.

“We recognize customers in our community need help, and we want to make it as easy as possible for them to have access,” said Marc Barraco, Government and Community Relations program manager for RG&E. “This event is about connecting people with resources, a one-stop shop, so they walk away with their needs met.”

RG&E held a multi-utility event in January, at which customer service representatives helped 75 customers with their bills.

Details of the event are below, with more scheduled to come.
