RG&E and City of Rochester Provide Free Energy Efficiency Kits

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — November 13, 2024 — Rochester Gas and Electric (RG&E) is working with the City of Rochester to distribute free energy efficiency kits. People can pick up the kits on Monday, November 18 at any one of the City’s four Neighborhood Service Centers, while supplies last.
Each energy efficiency kit includes LED light bulbs, door sweeps, power strips, and faucet and shower head extenders that can help save energy throughout the year. The kits will be divided evenly among the city’s Neighborhood Service Centers to make sure people in each city quadrant have the opportunity to receive one.
Residents can pick up their kits while supplies last at the following locations:
