RG&E and Bivona Child Advocacy Center Customer Service Pop-up and Announcement at Community Bash
Event will feature live music, food and giveaways RG&E customer service reps will help customers with their bills
ROCHESTER, N.Y. — September 5, 2023 — Rochester Gas and Electric (RG&E) will partner with Bivona Child Advocacy Center to host a Community Bash Event on Saturday, September 9 at Bivona Child Advocacy Center’s offices in Rochester. The event is a way to support the community by providing resources as many families get in a back-to-school routine. RG&E and Bivona Child Advocacy Center will also make an announcement at the Community Bash about a future event.
RG&E will have customer service representatives and advocates available to support customers by answering their questions and helping them with their bills. The Company will also be handing out energy efficiency kits and promotional items.
“We know these events are working. We have helped more than 2,000 customers at our in-person pop-up events, so we want to continue our outreach and engage with customers to meet them where they are in the community,” said Veronica Dasher, regional manager of Government and Community Relations for RG&E.
Bivona Child Advocacy Center will have staff available to answer questions for families about its programs and ways adults can help keep children safe.

There will be food and live music. No reservations are needed. Just show up ready to have fun.

The event is part of RG&E’s continued efforts to improve customer service. The Company will host customer service pop-up events in collaboration with local government and community organizations across the Rochester region, with more events to come.
