NYSEG, RG&E AND IBERDROLA USA EMPLOYEES WILL BE OUT IN FORCE SATURDAY TO VOLUNTEER FOR LOCAL AGENCIES
NYSEG, RG&E and Iberdrola USA Employees Will Be Out in Force Saturday to Volunteer for Local Agencies
Effort Is Part of Iberdrola’s Fifth International Volunteer Day
Rochester, NY – More than 100 NYSEG, RG&E and Iberdrola USA employees, joined by dozens of family members and friends, will be contributing their time and energy to community agencies across the state on Saturday, October 25 as part of Iberdrola’s fifth annual International Volunteer Day. Employees will join their Iberdrola USA co-workers in Maine and Iberdrola colleagues in Spain, the United Kingdom, Brazil and Mexico to give back to their communities.

From 9 a.m. to noon, volunteers will rake leaves, clean up the grounds in preparation for winter and chaperon on the playground.

From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., volunteers will paint, split and stack wood, conduct fall grounds maintenance and perform minor interior and exterior renovations.

From 9 a.m. to noon, volunteers will provide support to limited weekend staff doing barn chores, including grooming horses, providing hay and cleaning stalls.

From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., volunteers are encouraged to dress in costume to assist with ZooBoo, the zoo’s annual “merry-not-scary” Halloween event. Volunteer jobs will include helping at trick or treat stations and directing visitors inside the zoo.
