NYSEG and RG&E Continue Restoration as Heavy Winds and Rain Move Across the State - 12 p.m.

BINGHAMTON, NEW YORK April 16, 2018 12 p.m.  NYSEG and RG&E, subsidiaries of AVANGRID Inc. (NYSE: AGR), remain committed to restoration efforts as heavy winds and rain move across the state today causing power outages. As of 12 p.m., there are approximately 9,000 customers without power. These outages are in addition to those caused by snow, rain, sleet, and ice over the weekend. Since the start of this weather event, approximately 40,000 customers have been affected. NYSEG and RG&E currently have more than 1,300 personnel responding to this continuing storm. NYSEG and RG&E crews and contractors will continue to work through the heavy winds in an effort to restore power to every customer affected by this latest round of rain and wind.
