NYSEG AND RG&E COMPLETE TRANSITION OF CREDIT AND COLLECTIONS WORK TO NEW YORK FROM OUT OF STATE
Move Means 160 to 180 New Full-Time Equivalent Positions at NCI in Endicott
Rochester, NY – NYSEG, RG&E and Central Maine Power (CMP), subsidiaries of Iberdrola USA, have completed the transition of credit and collections work previously performed in North Carolina and Ohio to Nationwide Credit, Inc. (NCI) in Endicott. The work accounts for 160 to 180 of the 300 new positions NCI announced last spring.
“We are delighted to bring this work back to New York and fuel job growth here,” said Mark S. Lynch, president and CEO of NYSEG and RG&E. “The quality of NCI’s services and the proximity of the Endicott call center to our Binghamton and Rochester offices will benefit everyone. This new arrangement is clearly the right thing to do for our customers and our communities.”
Lynch said the work performed by NCI supports NYSEG’s, RG&E’s and CMP’s customer service organizations in New York and Maine.
“For many years, NCI has employed exceptional talent in this region,” said John R. Fisher, chief operating officer of Altisource Customer Solutions. “We are excited to partner with NYSEG, RG&E and CMP to bring these jobs to New York”.
The initial term of the agreement with NCI is three years.
NCI is a leading accounts receivable and customer relationship management provider with primary U.S. service centers in Endicott and Tempe, AZ. As part of Altisource’s Customer Solutions group, the NCI call center in Endicott has more than 600 customer service experts serving customers in the utility, financial and energy sectors.
In addition to assisting customers who have fallen behind in their payments, NCI representatives are also handling all move in/move out calls for RG&E and assisting with those calls for CMP.
