NYSEG and RG&E Announce New President and CEO
BINGHAMTON, NEW YORK — May 31, 2017 — NYSEG and RG&E, subsidiaries of AVANGRID (NYSE: AGR), announce the appointment of Carl A. Taylor as the companies’ new President and CEO. Taylor will be replacing Mark S. Lynch who announced his retirement earlier this year.

Taylor, who is currently the Vice President of Customer Service, started with NYSEG in 1987 as an Electrical Engineer in the Generation Planning area. He progressed through numerous positions in the organization including President of NYSEG Solutions and subsequently President and CEO of The Energy Network where he provided strategic leadership and direction to all non-utility subsidiaries. Taylor also previously served as the Vice President of Business Transformation.
Taylor holds a Bachelor’s of Electrical Engineering Degree from Rochester Institute of Technology and a Master’s of Business Administration Degree from State University of New York at Binghamton.
Taylor will officially assume his new role on July 1, 2017.
