SOC Compliance Notice

RG&E has been hit with a major wind storm that has caused a substantial number of outages in the service territory.  Restoration efforts have resulted in Market Function employees being activated for storm duty that may result in them having access to Transmission Function Information. Consistent with the Company’s Standard of Conduct Compliance Policy and Plan all interactions between Transmission Function employees and Market Function employees will be documented by hand written or typed notes, electronic records such as e-mails and text messages, recorded telephone exchanges, and the like, will be retained for a period of five years.

Further, Market Function employees have all received SOC training and have been reminded that they cannot use Transmission Function Information received as a result of their storm assignment to improperly benefit the Market Function.
