Feel the warmth and the savings by converting to natural gas heat!

We are pleased to let you know that RG&E is offering rebates to customers who convert to natural gas heat in 2008!

Rebates up to $500 - Any RG&E customer or property owner who converts to natural gas heat between January 1 and December 31, 2008 will be eligible for a rebate of up to $500 toward the purchase and installation of a new natural gas furnace or boiler - or converts an existing furnace or boiler to natural gas (new construction excluded).

Rebates up to $200 - In addition, RG&E is offering a rebate of up to $200 towards the purchase and installation of a new natural gas vented fireplace, vented heating stove, vented space heater or vented fireplace insert (excluding natural gas log sets) when any of these products is installed as a primary heating source.

To receive a rebate for a furnace, boiler or fireplace, the customer must be converting to natural gas heat from another fuel source. Customers who already heat with natural gas are not eligible. The total maximum rebate per service address is limited to $500. Rebate amounts will not exceed the cost of the equipment and installation.
